Our Commitment to Customer Satisfaction

At Coltens Road Service LLC, we stand behind our work and are committed to providing quality truck repair services. This policy outlines our warranty coverage, refund procedures, and customer satisfaction commitments.

Service Warranties

Labor Warranty

  • Coverage Period: 90 days or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Coverage: All labor performed by our technicians
  • What's Included: Free repair of any defects in workmanship
  • Conditions: Vehicle must be used for normal commercial operations

Parts Warranty

  • Coverage: As provided by the parts manufacturer
  • Typical Range: 12-24 months depending on part type
  • Process: We handle warranty claims with manufacturers on your behalf
  • Labor: Installation labor for warranty part replacement is included

Emergency Roadside Service Warranty

  • Coverage Period: 30 days or 5,000 miles, whichever comes first
  • Coverage: Repairs performed at roadside locations
  • Limitations: Limited to the specific repair performed

What's Not Covered

Our warranties do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear items (filters, belts, hoses, brake pads)
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect
  • Modifications made by other service providers
  • Damage from overloading or operating outside specifications
  • Consequential damages or lost profits
  • Services performed by other repair facilities

Refund Policy

Service Refunds

Due to the nature of truck repair services, refunds are generally not available once work has been completed. However, we will consider refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Services were not performed as agreed
  • Significant errors in our diagnosis or repair process
  • Customer dissatisfaction due to our failure to meet service standards

Prepaid Services

  • Unused portions of prepaid maintenance packages may be refunded
  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase
  • Processing fee may apply for administrative costs

Emergency Service Calls

  • Service call fees are non-refundable once technician is dispatched
  • If we cannot reach your location due to circumstances beyond our control, fees may be waived
  • Cancellations made before technician dispatch may receive full refund

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us immediately when you notice an issue
  2. Provide your service receipt and vehicle information
  3. Describe the problem and when it first occurred
  4. Bring the vehicle to our facility for inspection
  5. We will diagnose the issue and determine warranty coverage
  6. Covered repairs will be performed at no charge

Customer Satisfaction Process

If you're not satisfied with our service:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of service completion
  2. Speak with our service manager to discuss your concerns
  3. We will investigate the issue and work toward a resolution
  4. Solutions may include re-performing work, partial refunds, or service credits
  5. Our goal is to resolve all issues to your satisfaction

Dispute Resolution

If we cannot resolve a warranty or refund issue through normal channels:

  • We encourage good faith negotiation to reach a fair resolution
  • Disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration under Ohio state law
  • Both parties will share arbitration costs equally
  • Arbitration decisions are final and binding

Important Notes

  • All warranty work must be performed at our facility unless otherwise agreed
  • Warranty coverage may be voided if repairs are attempted by other parties
  • Keep all service receipts as proof of warranty coverage
  • Regular maintenance as recommended may be required to maintain warranty
